Client Background 

Milan Magic School offers online magic course, combining education with performance. Founded by magician Milan, the program blends illusion techniques with personal development, offering kids a fun and transformative learning experienceThey run their learning management system on Graphy platform, but their web presence and enrollment flow were split across GoDaddy’s site builder and Graphy’s (out of the box homepage template) leading to disjointed user experience. 

Challenges:

  1. Disjointed Checkout Experience 
    1. Landing pages were built in GoDaddy. 
    2. CTAs led users off-site to Graphy. 
    3. Checkout involved multiple steps: redirection, cart addition, login, then payment. 
    4. High drop-off rates. 
  2. Lack of Conversion Focus 
    1. No CRO or UX optimization. 
    2. Navigation allowed users to wander mid-funnel. 
    3. Paid media visitors could easily exit the funnel. 
  3. Limited Organic Discovery 
    1. Sparse course details. 
    2. No event-specific pages. 
    3. SEO was underutilized. 

The Solution

Platform Migration to Shopify 

  • Rebuilt the entire site in Shopify, improving stability, customization, performance, and future scalability. 
  • Migrated all landing pages from GoDaddy to Shopify for better control and design consistency. 

One-Click Checkout via Zapier Integration

  • Integrated Shopify with Graphy using Zapier. 
  • Enabled direct one-click enrollment: users complete checkout on Shopify and are instantly enrolled in the course on Graphy without needing to log in or add to cart again. 

CRO and UX Overhaul 

  • Simplified the enrollment journey from 4+ steps to just one. 
  • Designed focused landing pages with no navigation visible for users arriving via paid media (UTM detection). 
  • Minimized distractions and created a funnel users couldn’t fall out of. 

Design Inspired by Magic and Surprise 

  • UI design featured whimsical, interactive elements— floating bubbles, moving gradients, and animated illusions. 
  • Fonts and color palettes echoed classic stage magic. 
  • Micro-interactions (e.g., animated gradient rating) built anticipation and engagement. 

 SEO & Organic Growth 

  • Created SEO-friendly course detail pages for each program with schema markup. 
  • Built event page for birthdays, weddings, private parties, and corporate events to capture seasonal search interest. 
  • Optimized metadata, alt tags, and internal linking. 

Results:

  • Bounce Rate on paid traffic landing pages dropped by 34%. 
  • Conversion Rate increased by 62% post-migration. 
  • Time to check out reduced from ~3 minutes to under 45 seconds.
